My honors thesis, "'I Think't No Sin': Shakespeare's Bed Trick Reconsidered," explores oft-ignored depictions of sexual violence committed against men by female perpetrators within Shakespeare's canon in an effort to combat the dismissal of male victims of these crimes and demonstrate that sexual assault victimology is, and has historically been understood as, unbound by gender norms and conventions.

I wrote my thesis over the course of my senior year at Cornell University as a part of the Department of Literatures in English Honors Program. For this work, I was awarded magna cum laude distinction.
